Measurements and Instructions

Finished card is 5-1/2 x 4-1/4

Card blank is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored across at 4-1/4 and folded at the top

 π•„𝕒π•₯ & π•ƒπ•’π•ͺ𝕖𝕣 the three panels

Panel1:  4-1/2 x 3-3/4

card stock – Basic Beige

4-1/2 across top: cut into thirds at 1-1/2

Panel2:  3-3/4 x 3-1/2

design paper

3-3/4 across top: cut into thirds at 1-1/4

Layer and center the design paper over the card stock. Repeat three times to create three tall panels. Position as desired on card blank. I placed the outside two first, without adhesive. Then, I positioned and glued the middle rectangle. Finally, I re-adjusted the outside rectangles using the center panel and edges for perfect placement. Glue down.

Sentiment label

·       Cut two white pieces of card stock to 1-1/4 x 3

·       Stamp the floral spray image from Country Flowers on a separate piece of white card stock. Stazon ink is recommended with watercolor applications. Die cut or cut around image.

·       Die cut leaf design twice (or, substitute with another leaf die- or punch-cut) from a piece of Basic Beige card stock.

For the sentiment, stamp your desired sentiment on one piece of white card stock using black ink. Stamp slightly to the center-right on the rectangle.

For the flowers, dab a touch of inkpad onto an acrylic block or craft mat. Use a glitter brush and a few drops of water to add color to your image. Do not squeeze glitter into the brush, simply use the brush to watercolor. Wipe brush clean with a paper towel between colors. I used the following ink colors:

Petunia Pop (roses)

Peach Pie (larger leaves)

Mossy Meadow (smaller leaves)

To assemble the sentiment element, layer as follows:

top

Watercolor floral image – glue down (no dimensionals) center-left of the stamped sentiment

White card stock with stamped sentiment

Dimensionals (foam tape) over the white card stock and leaf die cuts

Two leaf die cuts in Basic Beige on the left side of the white card stock below – glue down to

plain white card stock

bottom

Place the sentiment element as desired on your card front. Add embellishments. I used coordinating shimmer gems.

Inside writing panel, white card stock: 4 x 5-1/4

Twinkle Tip

Simplify the mat & layer process by starting with larger rectangles that cut down precisely into smaller rectangles.

For example,

4-1/2 cuts into exact thirds at 1-1/2, so 4-1/2 x 3-3/4 becomes (3) 1-1/2 x 3-3/4

Similarly,

3-3/4 cuts into exact thirds at 1-1/4, so 3-3/4 x 3-1/2 becomes (3) 1-1/4 x 3-1/2

As a bonus, the measurements above layer together nicely!
